Privacy policy
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
ISun International Service Company Limited, trading as Cardz Game, owns and operates cardzgame.pro. We are responsible for personal information processed for this retail business and act as the data user or controller where those terms apply under privacy law.
This policy covers the store, retail orders and related customer communications. It does not replace the privacy notice for a separate service linked from the store. Shopify hosts the store and processes information as described below.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you interact with the store, we process:
- Contact and delivery details, including your name, email, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.
- Account information, preferences and authentication-related information supported by the store.
- Order and payment-related records, including products purchased, prices, payment status, transaction references, refunds and delivery records. Payment credentials entered at checkout are handled through the relevant payment provider's systems.
- Support correspondence, photographs and other information supplied for enquiries, returns or complaints.
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages visited and interactions with the store, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information reasonably necessary for fraud checks or customs clearance when a particular transaction requires it.
Information comes from you, your use of the store, and service providers such as Shopify, payment processors and carriers. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary email or support chat.
Where information is needed to process payment, supply an order or comply with law, failure to provide it may prevent us from completing that transaction. Optional marketing choices do not determine whether you can receive ordinary order support.
3. Why We Use Information
We use personal information to process and deliver purchases; administer accounts; provide customer support; investigate delivery issues and returns; process refunds; prevent fraud; maintain store security; comply with legal and accounting obligations; and resolve disputes.
We also use information to understand and improve the store. Where marketing or personalised advertising features are used, the applicable consent requirements and privacy choices apply. We obtain consent where required for direct marketing, and you can withdraw it without charge. An order is not, by itself, consent to every form of marketing.
Where a legal basis is required, our processing relies on performing a contract, meeting a legal obligation, consent, or legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, as applicable. We do not rely on legitimate interests where your rights override them or the law requires consent.
4. Sharing Information
We disclose information as needed to Shopify and providers supporting hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, communications, fulfilment, delivery, analytics and customer support. Carriers and customs authorities may receive information needed to deliver and clear a parcel. The provider handling a payment may receive relevant order and dispute evidence.
Where enabled and permitted, advertising partners may receive device and usage information for measurement or personalised advertising. Some jurisdictions describe this as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising even when no money is paid for the information. The choices in section 6 apply.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities or other parties where required by law, reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or connected with a lawful business transfer. We limit disclosure to information relevant to the purpose and apply appropriate confidentiality and privacy safeguards.
5. Shopify and Other Providers
Shopify processes information to host and operate the store. Depending on the features used, Shopify may also process information for its own purposes, including services that use interactions across merchants. Shopify is responsible for those activities under its own privacy notice.
Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers and access Shopify's privacy portal at https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
Payment services, social platforms and websites linked from the store may process information under their own notices. Linking to a service does not make its processing part of our retail privacy policy.
6. Cookies, Advertising and Marketing Choices
Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as the cart, checkout, security and saved preferences. Analytics and advertising technologies may be used according to the store's enabled features and applicable consent requirements. Where consent is required for non-essential technologies, they must remain subject to that choice.
Use the privacy controls presented on the store and the Your Privacy Choices page at https://cardzgame.pro/pages/data-sharing-opt-out. Depending on your location, you may opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Where applicable, a recognised Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out for the relevant browser or device and, where it can be associated, the relevant account.
You can also adjust browser cookie settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect checkout or account functions. A browser preference may not apply across every device you use.
You can unsubscribe from promotional email using its unsubscribe link or contact us. We may still send necessary transactional messages, including order, delivery, security and refund notices.
7. International Processing
The store operates from Hong Kong and uses fulfilment in Japan and service providers that may process data in other countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence.
Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguards, we use the required protections. For transfers subject to European Economic Area or United Kingdom restrictions, this may include an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us to request information about safeguards relevant to your data.
8. Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, taking account of order administration, account activity, legal retention requirements, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised as appropriate.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online system is completely secure. Please protect your account access and use the secure process we provide if sensitive information is genuinely required.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information; a copy or transfer of your information; restriction of or objection to processing; withdrawal of consent; or an opt-out from sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Hong Kong customers may request data access and correction under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
Contact us through our contact form to make a request. We may verify your identity using proportionate information. We will explain any lawful limitation or fee before proceeding and respond within the applicable statutory period. An authorised representative may act for you where permitted, with appropriate proof of authority.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing carried out before withdrawal.
10. Children and Complaints
The store is not directed at children who cannot legally make their own purchases. Parents or guardians should place and manage purchases for them. If a child has supplied personal information without appropriate authority, contact us so we can review and address it.
If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your information, contact us for a review. You may also complain to the relevant regulator, including Hong Kong's Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data at https://www.pcpd.org.hk, or your local supervisory authority. Any applicable right to appeal a privacy decision remains available.
11. Updates and Contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the store or legal requirements. We will publish the revised policy on this page and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
